Hallo,

CMSimple 4.8.2 steht zum Download bereit.

Ein uraltes Problem mit Anführungszeichen (double quotes) in den Seitentiteln konnte ich nun nachvollziehen. Das Problem war der Pagemanager, der beim speichern ab dem ersten Anführungszeichen alles aus dem Seitentitel gelöscht hat. Diese Problem ist nun beseitigt.

Ausserdem gibt es ein neues Standardtemplate __cmsimple_default__, um den Erstkontakt mit CMSimple etwas angenehmer zu gestalten

Ein Update CMSimple 4.0 => 4.8.2, mit dem alle CMSimple Installationen ab 4.0 problem- und schmerzlos aktualisiert werden können, steht auch wieder zur Verfügung.

CMSimple 4.8.2 is ready for download.

I was able to understand an ancient problem with double quotes in the page titles. The problem was the page manager, deleting everything from the first double quote on, from the page title when saving. This problem now has been solved.

There is also a new standard template __cmsimple_default__, to make first contact with CMSimple a little more pleasant

An Update CMSimple 4.0 => 4.8.2, for an easy and painless update of all installations of CMSimple 4.0 or higher, also is available.

Du hattest ja schon Anfang 2016, also vor mehr als 4 Jahren, auf das Problem mit den double quotes im Seitentitel aufmerksam gemacht. Allerdings konnte ich das damals nicht nachvollziehen. Ich benutze halt den Pagemanager kaum, weil ich aus alter Gewohnheit Seiten anlegen, löschen und umbenennen auf traditionelle Art erledige, und auch Du hast nicht realisiert, dass das jedesmal passiert, wenn man den Pagemanager abspeichert. Es war immer nur die Rede von "ab und zu passiert es ...".

Irgendwie ist das ganze dann in Vergessenheit geraten, wahrscheinlich haben alle Beteiligten akzeptiert, dass double quotes in Seitentiteln vermieden werden sollten.

Jetzt wollte ich mal eine Website umordnen, und das geht natürlich mit dem Pagemanager komfortabler. Dabei ist mir das dann auch passiert, aber ich habe es auch erst später gemerkt und habe auch ein paar Tage gebraucht, bis ich drauf gekommen bin, dass es der Pagemanager ist. Und dann noch ein paar Tage, um dem Problem auf die Spur zu kommen und es zu lösen

I've just installed the update of CMSimple and I there is still an accessibility issue in the page manager.
As I'm blind, I use a screen reader which can read text thanks to a speech synth. Unfortunately it can't read graphic links unless the alt="" tag contains a description. In the admin panel of the Page Manager there are these links and when I select one of them I don't know which one is selected because the alt="" tag is empty.
For this reason I've modified line 177 in admin.php in the Page Manager folder like this:
tag('img class="' . $class . '" src="' . $img . '"' . ($tool != 'help' ? ' onclick="pagemanager_do(\'' . $tool . '\'); return false;" alt="' . ($tool == 'save' ? ucfirst($tx['action']['save']) : $tx['pagemanager']['op_' . $tool]) . '"' : ' alt="' . ($tool == 'save' ? ucfirst($tx['action']['save']) : $tx['pagemanager']['op_' . $tool]) . '"')) .

This way my screen reader can read the links that I select to create, copy, cut etc... the pages, but every time that I update my installation I have to modify the admin.php file.
I wonder if you can take care of this problem and solve it in future versions of your ecellent cms which is really very easy to use. I'm sure that you can do a better job than me because I'm less than a beginner with php.

in CMSimple 5 you will have your alt attributes

It is horrible nested code, but with 2 new language variables I could simplify it a little bit.

If you download CMSimple 5RC now you can test it, I just have uploaded a new download:

Ja, Gert! Es funktioniert perfekt!
Letzte Nacht habe ich das CMS installiert und sofort überprüft, ob der Seitenmanager funktioniert und perfekt ist. Ich habe auch die Datei für die italienische Sprache installiert und es scheint alles O.K. Ich muss nur überprüfen, ob es keine zu übersetzenden Zeilen gibt, und dann werde ich den Link bereitstellen, über den ich du erhalten kannst.
Jetzt spiele ich ein bisschen mit CMSimple 5rc...

Yeah, Gert! It works like a charm!
Yesterday evening I installed the cms and I immediately tested the Page Manager and it works Perfectly. I also installed the file for the italian language and it seems to work fine. I just need to check if there are some extra strings to translate, then I'll give you a link to download it.
Now I'm going to play a little bit with CMSimple 5rc...
