I run a cmsimple 4.0 in german- with a subsite in english.
any upload button In the english subsite - regardless if in the files section or in comments - is in german "DURCHSUCHEN" and "Keine Datei Ausgewählt"
how can I correct that?

You can't. It is controlled by your browser. If your browser is set to German, the text of the button will be German.rreinhardklein wrote:... how can I correct that?
Of course there are solutions (jQuery etc.), but to complicated and to much for a CMS called CMSimple,
