Reset of password

Hi,

Suddenly I could not log in with my password...

I tried to follow the description on this page https://www.cmsimple.org/doku/en/?Insta ... __Password

and save the config.php in Notepad++ as a UTF-8 and upload it again but without success

I hope someone can help me.

Hello,

I had to reset my pc and all my remembered passwords disapeared including them for login on websites made with cmsimple.

I tried to follow the guide for resetting the password here : https://www.cmsimple.org/doku/en/?Insta ... __Password

But with no success. I had tried this once and Gert helped me along, but the updated page at that time with the code, does not seem to work now.

I hope once more someone can help me.

Which CMSimple version is running? If it is CMSimple 5.1 or higher, please read the ./readme.php,

I have read the readme.php and changed the code in config.php to

But it does not help

That is not the right way, this is only working in older versions than CMSimple 5.1. Read the ./readme.php (open it with a text editor and read the comment section on top)

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunely it did not help.

When I look at the files on the server for mosegaardsparken.com it seems that I have updated the version to a version newer than 5.1 as I have both the setup.php and setup/setupControl.php
That also goes for gentofteejendomsselskab.dk

But when I upload ./setup/setupControl.php and after that try to login through the login on the website nothing happens and it just say Error 401: Uautoriserede on mosegaardsparken and Wrong Password, Please try again. Login on gentofteejendomsselskab.dk

I cant figure out what Im doing wrong....

Last try:

1. Go to https://www.mosegaardsparken.com/setup.php

2. Upload the setupControl.php by ftp from the download to the CMSimpleRoot folder of mosegaardsparken.com. I hope, you know what CMSimpleRoot means.

3. Go back to https://www.mosegaardsparken.com/setup.php and set a new password (please hurry - you have 5 min)

After that you should control, if the setupControl.php in the CMSimpleRoot is deleted. If not - delete it by hand, and check if the setup is deactivated:

I got it now

Sorry that I was so slow in understanding... thought I had to use the normal login on the website and not https://www.mosegaardsparken.com/setup.php two times
