Hello,

I am helping a friend with their website and we are using a web host named GetLark. I uploaded CMSimple and as usual it is working fine.

But, I discovered that this web host has a 1 Click Installation of CMSimple (Version 4.7.3) so I just wanted to try it to see how it performed on the installation. Everything installed fine. But the default password that is in the readme.php will not work. They have no information that they have changed the default temporary password in CMSimple.

Do you have any info about why it would not work?

Hi Sperry,

that provider never has contacted me. That's ok, CMSimple is published under GPL, so they are allowed.

But so I don't know, what they are doing. There is no need for an "installation", they have just to upload the files, that's all, and so the password should be the standard password, after the One-Click-Installation,
