In http://www.cmsimple.org/en/?Downloads__ ... __CMSimple you write
Just upload the 5 folders to the root folder of your CMSimple installation and ignore any browser messages (eg "ok" to confirm).
The zip-file downloaded contains 10 folders and 2 files.
Excactly which 5 folders should be uploaded, or should documentation state "upload 10 folders and 2 files" (or upload all folders and files extracted from the update zip-file) ?

Thanks for the hint, I have updated the page. Correct is:

The folders, beginning with "2", are copy templates for second languages and subsites and not needed on the webserver.

Just upload the other folders (not beginning with "2") and files to the root folder of your CMSimple installation and ignore any browser messages (eg "ok" to confirm).

Thank you for a very quick and useful response.
Another detail
After update the instruction write chmod 666 at ./cmsimple/log.php
I did not find a log.php but instead a log_empty.php (and log.txt).
After update and start of the site, I get message "no log.php found.
But running without problems afterwards and can se that log.php has been created
Q: Should log_empty.php be renamed before start (and chmod 666) ?
Or is the chmod to be done after first start (with save of system language and one page) ?

best regards

Hello,

the log.txt is the old logfile.

If your server does not create the log.php (new logfile) automatic, rename the log_empty.php => log.php manually and archive the old log.txt,

Nice and easy,
In this case the log.php was created and I just left the old log.txt and log_empty.php unused.

Thank you for the help and clarification, very quick service :D :
