Single Level Site

Post by Craig »

It is possible to use CMSimple as a single level site. only 5 pages - no sub pages?
Default is level 3 - so splits occur using H1, H2, H3.

I'd hoped that by changing the Levels to 1, only H1 would split levels.
What seems to happen is that a split occurs for the h2 and creates a new page.
Is there a way to continue to us H2s for a level 1 site?

Smashing piece of software btw - thank you kindly.

Hello Craig,

please go to Settings => CMS => Menu => Levels and set it from 3 to 1.

The file ./cmsimple/config.php must be writable for a successfully configuration.

I don't understand, what you mean.

If you have configured CMSimple to 1 menulevels, you have to change h2 => h1 by editor, then you have a new h1 page from the old h2,

My Bad.
I had inadvertantly added x2 H1 tags into the html view of the editor, and this gave me a new page.
I thought it was the H2 that had done that - hence my confusion
Sorry - ID-10-T error.
