CMSimple 4.0.2 mit verbessertem Backend

Post by Gert »

Image Hallo,

Ein Update 4.0 => 4.0.2 wird empfohlen.

Viel Spass - Gert

Image Hello,

the mobile Internet can not be ignored anymore.

If you don't want to use any special templates for smartphones, and you can no longer hear the buzzword "responsive template", you only have the choice, to optimize your "normal template" for the requirements of the mobile web.

An important step in this direction are narrow content areas with short lines. Such a narrow content area with short lines can be zoomed on the smartphone, with a "double tap" or with 2 fingers "zooming"(if that is not enough), and then you have a comfortably readable content area.

But narrow content areas are problematic in the backend. So the toolbar of the browser maybe too wide, and the input fields and text areas for configurations and editing the language files are uncomfortably narrow. That's why I have added a suggestion of Tata and made some changes in the backend of CMSimple:
  • Backend template with wide content area, for editing CMS config, CMS language, plugin config and plugin language
  • New Editor Toolbar "narrow" for narrow content areas
  • Improved core stylesheet for editing configurations and languages
  • Input field for password is now "type password"
There is an update CMSimple 4.0 => 4.0.2 available, so you can upgrade your CMSimple 4.0 or 4.0.1 installation easily to 4.0.2 CMSimple. The update is also suitable for CMSimpleCoAuthors and CMSimpleRealBlog.

Downloads: http://www.cmsimple.org/en/?Downloads:CMSimple

An update 4.0 => 4.0.2 is recommended.

An update 4.0.1 => 4.0.2 is not necessary (even if it is "painless" to do). Anyone who already uses a template with a wide content area, will not much benefit from the new features in the backend,

have fun - Gert
