Content and sitemap are wrong

Post by Boldt »

Background: I am writing an Operation Manual in MS-Word. By transferring the document to html - on-line, and some additional editing I was able to put the entire document in to the CMSimple.

But there is something wrong! Something is missing!

Here is the part from the content.php where it goes wrong:
<h2>Policy Statement</h2>
<h3>Mission – (who are we)</h3>
<p>Svannakhet Waste Treatment Centre is performing pre-treatment and final treatment of Municipal Solid Waste, Commercial Waste, Construction and Demolition Waste from the town of Kaysome Phomvihne and the region Svannnakhet, which will make the waste suitable for recycling, disposal at the local disposal site, or transport to specialised treatment facilities. </p>
<h3>Vision – (where are we going)</h3>
<p>Savannakhet Waste Treatment Centre will handle the incoming waste and recyclable materials in order to:</p>
<p>· Minimise the impact on environment, </p>
<p>· Minimise the use of resources, and</p>
<p>· Minimise the risk to occupational health and safety.</p>
<p>Minimize the impact on the environment: We don’t want our neighboring village and agriculture areas to be affected from our operation through a possible pollution of air, soil, and water, as well as fumes, noise, and vibrations. </p>
<p>Minimize the use of resources: Minimize the use of Fuel and other forms of energy, Water, Labour, and other consumables.</p>
<p>Minimize the risk to Occupational Health and Safety: No worker is allowed to perform any task before a proper training and instruction. No worker is carrying out a task without having the right equipment. </p>
<h3>Values – (what matters to us)</h3>
<p><strong>Open:</strong> We are open for communication both internally and externally. It is a transparent organisation and activity.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibility:</strong> We are showing responsibility for the society, the environment, and the economy via loyalty, independence and knowledge.</p>
<p><strong>Reliable:</strong> We say what we do and we do what we say.</p>
<p><strong>Service-oriented:</strong> We provide good service by demonstrating helpfulness, courtesy, dedication and flexibility.</p>
<p><strong>Security:</strong> We demonstrate environmentally sound management of waste in a safe environment.</p>
<h1>Organisation</h1>
<h2>Chart</h2>
<h2>Terms of Reference</h2>
<h3>Manager – Head of Treatment Centre</h3>
<h4>Main Task and Responsibilities</h4>
<p>· Responsibility of the entire operation in front of the S-UDAA</p>
<p>· Responsible for Budget and Spending </p>
<p>· Staff Management </p>
And here is the part of the sitemap where the above text is shown:
Introduction
Background
Policy Statement
Mission – (who are we)
Vision – (where are we going)
Terms of Reference
Manager – Head of Treatment Centre
Accountant
Secretary
As you can see, following 3 heading are missing
<h3>Values – (what matters to us)</h3>
<h1>Organisation</h1>
<h2>Chart</h2>

Where does it goes wrong?

You can see the entire CMSimple on http://waste.325.dk (It is a temporary site only available while I elaborate the manual.)

That's not the way to work with CMSimple, read here ...

If you want to do so in the future, delete ./content/pagedata.php (CMSimple will create a new, empty pagedata.php) and do not use pagedata (the tabs above editor) anymore.

The pages are hidden by pagedata, you also can make hidden pages visible by pagemanager,

Well... That was one of the strong points I found when discovering CMSimple long long time ago.
To be able to make an Operation Manual, my children's school-reports, or similar word document into a website with search function or a website into a word document, for instance after the completion of a campaign, is just so powerful.

Anyway, thank you very much for your input. You guided me directly to the core of the problem. the Pagemanager - it is a new feature, and it is the second time that this helps me, so perhaps I should study this new feature a little. In editor mode, I clicked on the Page tab for the missing pages and corrected their appearance, and now everything works.

Thank you for a quick response.
