Disable Right-Click?

Is it possible to protect images on a CMSimple website by disabling the right-click functionality (ideally just suppressing the image-related functions)?

Thanks.

Short answer: No! You can annoy your visitors by disable rightclick, but that does not protect your images.

Of course you can disable rightclick, ask Google. But the most solutions are JavaScript based, and you can't enable JavaScript in the browser of the visitors. So I just have to disable JavaScript in my browser, and the rightclick context menu is available again,

Any other solutions then? My client has a website with art photos from many artists: painters, photographers, sculptors and more. These artists want to protect the photos of their artwork - any way this can be done within CMSimple?

Simple - don't show those pictures online

If the browser can show it, the user can make screenshots, look thru the brower-cache,
use some other program to download them, etc.
