Plugin SocialWebButtons 1.2 steht zum Download bereit

Post by Gert »

Image Hallo,

Image Hello,

only 2 days are gone, and there are already some news about the plugin SocialWebButtons.

1. The original script by Google to integrate the Google+ Button, does not validate by html5.

I rewrote it, and Martin has tested it with his Google+ account, thank you, Martin. The plugin SocialWebButtons now validates under html5.

2. When calling the plugin in the template, the buttons now no longer appear on special pages, such as mailform, sitemap, printview or 404 error page etc.

It's pretty pointless, for example, to "like" or "tweet" the 404 error page, which can be provoked by any nonsense in the address bar of the browser and has no fixed URL. Also pointless are the buttons in the printview. Therefore, the output of the buttons is disabled in the printview, for the plugin call in the content.

3. If the jQuery plugin is not installed, now automatically the 1-click version works ('visible').

I have tested in an old ANSI encoded installation of CMSimple without jQuery plugin. So even in installations lower as the system requirements of SocialWebButtons, the plugin should work with some limitations.
